Last weekend was our third annual Fall Equinox Sacred Sister Retreat. As usual, we relaxed in a cabin at the Platte River State Park. Unfortunately, we didn't get the cabin with the fireplace this time so we missed roasting marshmallows and the general coziness a fire brings. The absent fire was particularly noticeable with the much cooler and damp weather we experienced.
Usually we do some form of Earth healing work, but this year our focus seemed to be on self healing and figuring out changing relationships. We went on our regular hiking adventures, this time exploring the opposite end of the park. Having our new walking sticks made traversing the hillsides so much easier!
